APEduC Journal - Research and Practices in Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education - ISSN: 2184-7436, hereinafter referred to as “APEduC Journal” is an electronic scientific-didactic publication of the “Associação Portuguesa de Educação em Ciências (APEduC)” [Portuguese Association of Science Education].

APEduC Journal focuses on science, mathematics, and technology education, in formal and non-formal contexts. It values research and grounded practice, relevant to these areas as well as the articulation between these.

This journal aims to influence science, mathematics and technology education in Portugal and around the world contributing to:

  • Deepen and broaden the theoretical and empirical basis of the field of science, mathematics, and technology education through studies and research that will improve the quality of formal and non-formal education in these areas of knowledge.
  • Promote the wide dissemination of studies in areas of interest to teachers, educators and learners of science, mathematics, and technology.
  • Bring in contact and permanent dialogue between research and educational practice in the field of science, mathematics, and technology education.

The target audience of the APEduC Journal is: researchers, teachers, trainers, and postgraduate students in Science, Mathematics and Technology Education(formal and non-formal contexts) and disseminators of these areas of knowledge from  Portugal and worldwide.
